
Pastor Emeritus Burton Herring Sr.
Pastor Emeritus Burton Herring Sr. has served since 2010 as Sr. Pastor and now Pastor Emeritus of Seman Congregational Christian Church. With over 67 years of faithful service to Christ he has served as both Sr. Pastor, Chaplain for local organizations, and oversees Missionary.
It was in the 1980's attending a Missionary trip to Honduras that began his many oversees Missionary trips. As a volunteer Coordinator of Missions Trips, his team built a orphanage, medical clinic, remodel a building for a hospital, and built several churches in Honduras. He helped to build a school for local pastors in Guatemala and established the Baptist Missionary Association of Bolivia. He was blessed to preach a revival in Japan.
In the 1990's, while serving a Sr. Pastor at Rigby Street, Montgomery, AL he served as Chaplain for the Air, Land Emergency Resource Team and as a Chaplain for various Hospice groups in the local area.
Alongside his ministry, his son Burton Herring Jr. and Linda with four kids all faithfully serve at Seman Congregational Church.
